Katy Perry Tops Taylor Swift In The Dollar Department
Forbes magazine just named Katy Perry the top-earning female musician in the world. Katy pulled in $135 million in the past 12 months. She tells Forbes, “I am proud of my position as a boss, as a person that runs my own company. I’m an entrepreneur… I don’t want to shy away from it.” Taylor Swift, who earned $80 million in the past year, was second, followed by Lady Gaga with $59 million and last year’s top earner, Beyonce, who raked in $54.5 million.
