Kentucky stabbing suspect arrested in Wise County

A suspect in a weekend stabbing in Eastern Kentucky was taken into custody by Wise County deputies.

A State Police report said Stuart Reynolds, 72, had been identified as the suspect after an investigation in Letcher County where the victim suffered a non-life threatening stab wound to her chest. She was transported to a Pikeville hospital for further treatment. The agency said Wise County notified them of Reynolds’ capture after they found him on US Route 23.

Assault-related charges against Reynolds are pending.
