Major roofing upgrade approved for David Crockett High School
Washington County Schools in Tennessee are getting a major upgrade. Monday night, county commissioners approved eight hundred thousand dollars to fast-track crucial roof repairs at David Crockett High School. The funds will cover engineering and contracting services to replace the roofs on both the old and new annexes. School officials originally planned to split the work over two fiscal years, but Superintendent Jerry Boyd says combining the phases right now will actually save taxpayers money. With funding secured, the county is officially opening the project up for bidding. Additional roof repairs are projected for 2030.
