Meadowview murder suspect receives 33 years in prison
A Washington County, Virginia man who absconded to Pennsylvania after murdering his wife will serve 33 years in prison.
That decision for Albert Esposito coming down from a Circuit Court judge, going above sentencing guidelines, according to Commonwealth’s Attorney Josh Cumbow.
Esposito pleaded guilty to killing Yvonne Esposito at a home in Meadowview in February of 2023. The victim was shot in the abdomen then succumbed to her injuries days later.
“I am pleased to see justice served on (Esposito) for the killing of his wife. This case represents the worst kind of spousal abuse,” Cumbow said in a prepared statement.
