Multiple drug related arrests after drug investigations in Russell County

Russell County Sheriff Bill Watson and Commonwealth’s Attorney Zack Stoots announced that on Tuesday December 2, 2025, multiple individuals were arrested following investigations conducted by investigators from the Russell County Sherrif’s Office and Town of Lebanon Police Department assigned to the Holston River Drug Task Force. The press release says that a Russell County Grand Jury returned 137 indictments against 23 individuals for crimes involving the Distribution of Methamphetamine, Fentanyl, and other controlled substances. An additional 4 individuals have been charged and arrested by warrant on 17 charges. 16 of the 23 individuals Indicted had been arrested as of Wednesday.
