Reese Witherspoon Is Close To A Deal For ‘Legally Blonde 3’

Reese Witherspoon is close to a deal to reprise her role as Elle Woods, in a third Legally Blonde movie. It’s been 17 years since the first movie hit theaters, and 15 years since part 2. Along with Reese comes most of the creative team from the first film, including the two original screenwriters, Kirsten Smith and Karen McCullah, and the original producer, Marc Platt. Although there’s not much to know about the plot yet, it’s supposed to be very much in the spirit of the first film, but with an even bigger female empowerment theme.
