SCSO charges Kingsport man with aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor

The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office said that a Kingsport man has been charged with aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor following a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The tip was regarding suspected child pornography that had been uploaded to the internet. Information was also provided by the suspect’s home internet service provider. 49 year old James McKinnie of Kingsport was taken into custody and charged with aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor after investigators executed a search warrant. Additional charges against McKinnie are pending.
