Taylor Swift Meets Young Fan Who Is Going Deaf

Taylor Swift met a 12-year-old girl named Jorja who is slowly losing her ability to hear and will eventually go completely deaf. But before that happens, the young girl lived out her dream of hearing Swift live in concert and meeting the superstar at the show. After being diagnosed with bilateral inner-ear loss, it was Jorja’s wish to go to one of Swift’s live shows before permanently losing her hearing. Earlier this month, Jorja’s twin sister launched a Facebook campaign urging fans to help spread the message. As a result of the campaign going viral, a meet and greet was set up at Swift’s 1989 concert in Sydney, Australia on Saturday night.
