Tennessee ranked first for third consecutive year for home game attendance

Tennessee Athletic Director Danny White argues that Knoxville is America’s no 1. sports city and has the receipts to prove it.

A report from UT Athletics says Volunteer Football and Men’s & Women’s Basketball seated more fans than any other college in the US for the third consecutive year with 1.1 million fans filing in for the regular season.

The Vols had more than 713,000 fans for seven home games, that ranked fourth in the US, and men’s basketball also finished fourth bringing in more than 327,000 fans over 17 games in Knoxville.
