Two fatalities reported in Greene County weekend crash

The TBI reports that two people died Friday evening after a crash near Newport Highway and Kiser Loop in Greene County. At 7:55 p.m. a vehicle ran off the road and overturned before striking a tree. The driver, 38 year old, Amber Buffaloe, was pronounced dead on the scene. The passenger, 36 year old, Corey Buffaloe, was airlifted but died while on the way to the hospital.
