Two lab pups from Mountain City shelter find forever home at President Biden’s Delaware estate
A report from a Johnson County animal rescue agency says two of their former residents have relocated to the home of the 46th President of the United States.
Officials at the non-profit Rescue DOG and End of Life Sanctuary in Mountain City posted the news on their social media page announcing the delivery of two black Labradors to the home of President Joe Biden in Delaware. The group noted that the pups had been abandoned on a mountain side months ago.
The Bidens are supporters of giving shelter dogs a new home and life. A German shepherd named Major was the first dog in White House history to come from an animal shelter when he was delivered in 2021.
