Unicoi County YMCA opens new childcare center

The Unicoi County YMCA opened a new childcare center Monday. According to a social media post, the center wants to help strengthen the workforce, support parents and help the youngest grow and thrive. The center will offer a variety of services from full-day to before and after school programs. It will also have different camps, such as swimming lessons, personal training, youth sports, and School’s Day Out camps scheduled during times school is not in session.
