Union High School Bears end post season run in tough loss, 21-20 final
The Union High School Bears’ undefeated season came to an end Saturday after a heartbreaking loss in the Class 2 State Semifinals game against Glenvar with the final score of 21-20. Union continued to work hard in their undefeated season despite the recent disappearance of head coach Travis Turner. The team was determined to reach the semi-finals. The post season has been dominated by the ongoing search for Turner, but the community support for the team has been overwhelming. Union High coaching officials and community members all say they are incredibly proud of the team for staying focused on the task and putting together an amazing post season run.
