UPDATE: Charges based on accidential shooting incident in Johnson County filed

More details have been released concerning an incident in Johnson County, Tennessee that sent a toddler to the hospital over the weekend.

A 3-year-old was admitted to a medical center late Sunday with a gunshot wound to the arm.

After an investigation, Sheriff Clifton Worley said charges have been filed against 21-year-old Lucas Hunter Adams in an incident the department labeled accidental.

Adams will make an initial appearance in court on four charges including aggravated child endangerment.
