Voters head to the polls for state and federal primary elections

Voters are heading to the polls to participate in the State and Federal Primary Election and the State and County General Elections today. Some of the key races to watch include the primary election for Tennessee governor, seats in the Tennessee House and Senate, school board positions, and also mayors races in both Washington and Carter Counties. Polls across the state will remain opened until 8 p.m. Voters can look up their voter registration, including their precinct and designated polling location, on the Secretary of State’s website.
