WCSO TN charge woman with vehicular homicide and DUI after 2025 accident
Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies have arrested 23 year old Elizabeth Adiah-Anne Blevins charging her with two counts of vehicular homicide and one count of driving under the influence. The charges stem from a fatal crash that occurred on August 30, 2025, on Highway 11-E near Grandview Elementary School. The crash claimed the lives of David Doty and Donna Doty, both of Chuckey. A crash investigation determined that Blevins was traveling westbound when she lost control of her vehicle and crossed into the eastbound lane hitting the motorcycle operated by the victims with both sustaining fatal injuries. A blood sample obtained on the day of the crash was submitted to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation for analysis. Results showed Blevins had a blood alcohol content of 0.19, more than twice the legal limit in Tennessee. A Washington County Grand Jury returned a presentment on May 15 and deputies took Blevins into custody without incident on May 19. She was transported to the Washington County Detention Center. Bond was set at $100,000, which she posted.
