ZMax Cars Tour, Dale Earnhardt Jr. announced October date at Newport Speedway
Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Newport Speedway are confirming a race date of October 3rd for his ZMax Cars Tour late model series.
The Cars Tour is an offshoot of the former Hooters Pro Cup Series that started in 1997 and absorbed the UARA Late Model Series in 2014. More than 20,000 fans were at the series’ relaunch four years ago at the remodeled North Wilkesboro Speedway.
Earnhardt is an investor in the ownership group of the Cars Tour along with Cup Series champ Kevin Harvick, NBC analyst and former Cup driver Jeff Burton and Trackhouse Racing owner Justin Marks. Tickets will go on sale at a later date.
